Like all track-based sliding sports, skiing requires physical standards that must be met in order to generate and maintain maximum speed. The Swiss Race Centre method is based on simulating real-life situations in the gates.

The use of appropriate edge grip, pressure in the boots and, above all, the use of the ‘Diagonal’ technique are essential for generating speed. Skiing the fastest line by applying these points will be the key to success and performance.

A unique facility in Europe. Having a European-level cross-country ski track, a ski slope and a gym all on the same site makes this a truly special place. The coaches at the Swiss Race Centre have developed highly effective training methods that combine these three facilities in the same session.
